Biography:

Hello! I’m Meg, and I am a Science Management major from Charlotte, North Carolina. Outside of ASCMC, I am the head of marketing for Claremont Women in Business and a First Year Guide. I am a huge animal lover, and enjoy spending my free time around horses or volunteering at Priceless Pets. My other hobbies include taking long strolls around Claremont, hitting Roberts, and yelling at the tv during a Dallas Cowboys game :)

As VPCO, I hope to serve as a resource and advocate for our clubs and affinity groups, and support the many amazing on-campus organizations that provide immense opportunities for our student body. Feel free to reach out will any inquiries regarding clubs & organizations!

Responsibilities: 

The Campus Organizations Chair is the point person for all clubs and organizations at CMC. This position has a lot of autonomy, and the chair can pursue projects at his or her discretion. In 2015, for example, the Chair prioritized increasing club storage facilities. Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all CMC clubs and organizations

• Keep records for all

• Host club fair for CMC

• Handle discretionary funding requests

• Hold office hours for the student body

• Send club inform email to CMC student body

• Review charter applications for new

• Allocate funding for CMC and 5C clubs

• Review budget for clubs

• Administer the clubs@cmc.edu email address
